Hair Care
Do's and Don'ts

DO's
1. Brush Gently: Use a wig brush or a wide-toothed comb to detangle your wig. Start from the tips and work your way up, holding the hair at the base to prevent excessive tension.
2. Wash Regularly: Depending on how often you wear your wig, washing it every 10-15 wears is typically recommended. Use a mild shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for synthetic or human hair wigs.
3. Use Cold Water: When washing your wig, use cold water to prevent damage and tangling. Avoid hot water as it can damage the wig fibers.

4. Be Gentle: Handle your wig with care. Avoid pulling or tugging on the hair, and don't wring it out when washing.
5. Store Properly: When you're not wearing your wig, store it on a wig stand or in a wig box to help maintain its shape and prevent tangling.
6. Protect from Heat: Avoid exposure to excessive heat, such as ovens, stoves, and open flames. Synthetic wigs can be damaged by heat sources. For Human Hair Please use a heat protectant spray before applying heat
7. Trim and Style: If your wig starts to look frizzy or tangled, consider taking it to a professional stylist for trimming and restyling.

DON'Ts
1. Don't Use Harsh Shampoo: Avoid using harsh shampoo and conditioner on your wig, as it can damage the fibers. Use products specifically designed for wigs, like Sulfate-free shampoos.
2. Don't Use Heated Styling Tools on Synthetic Wigs: Heat can melt synthetic wig fibers, so avoid using curling irons, straighteners, or blow dryers on them.
Most of our hair solutions are made from raw human and virgin hair, “Don't Use Heated Styling Tools on Synthetic Wigs” is specific for our synthetic wigs found under our “Fun Wigs” section.

3. Don't Store a Wet Wig: Never put a wet wig into storage, as it can develop mold or mildew. Ensure it's completely dry before storing. Hang your wig up and let it air dry. Once dry, store it in a satin bag to ensure longevity.
4. Don't Sleep in Your Wig: Sleeping in your wig can cause friction and tangling, leading to damage over time. It's best to remove it before bedtime or use silk bonnets to make styling the next morning a more seamless process.
5. Don't Neglect Maintenance: Regularly check your wig for tangles, frizz, or damage, and address any issues promptly to prolong its lifespan.
